Juana Perez is an urban painter and educator of Latin American popular cultures. She has been painting in the streets since 2006, blending techniques from both graffiti and muralism. Her work is inspired by a desire to bring visibility to the roots of the continent, creating identity and collective memory. Her murals are an embrace of Latin American roots.
